Laptop help

Hello,
my acer aspire 5738 5338 shuts off whenever it feels like it. I cleaned the fan etc, had the whole thing apart and put new ceramic paste on the procewssor. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, jake

It could be a myriad of issues. Have you tried to do a clean install of Windows 7 to see if you're able to turn on your laptop without a random shut down? Though I'd imagine that you may have to contact Acer and see if the laptop itself is defective.
