Hello:

I have 10 Windows XP Professional workstations setup in a workgroup. These workstations are accessed over WAN and LAN via Remote Desktop Connection by users with a combination of Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional. After successful RDC and logon, a workgroup workstation will hang with a very slow response time. There is no entry relating to this in the event viewer; but after reboot, the symptom clears up.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Frst suggestion will probably be to optimize the connection by selecting the minimum options under General, Display, Local Resources, Programs and Experience. We've made these adjustments with no improvement of performance.
