Hi,
I am trying to connect to my home computer running XP Pro over the internet. This comp is connected to the net using Dlink wireless router and cable modem. I have enabled port 3389 on the router. From my work, I am trying to connect using the dynamic public ip provided by the cable modem to connect, but it is not working. Cable representative told me no need to provide domain name, just the ip address, userid and password should be sufficient. But I get the error:

"The System could not log on. Make sure User name and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must be typed in correct case"

Thanks,
