Hello,
I've been looking around for an answer on a problem I'm having
connecting to my PC at home running XP Professional. I had it set up
that users could connect remotely, through the control panel, and it
had been working for months. A few weeks ago it started giving me
this error, that I've seen others getting "The client could not
connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be
enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new
connections"...blah blah blah. I'm using a linksys, and I've got 3389
forwarding to my PC's IP. I also have tried making my PC a DMZ, still
the same error.
Terminal services is started in my services, but here's where the
problem may lie. On bootup, I get a general win32 error message that
svchost.exe is having a problem(Don't remember the exact syntax right
now). Is there a virus going around that's affected svchost.exe?
Norton isn't picking up anything when I scan with the latest
definitions. Anyone come across this and have a solution?
