What is the best way to handle deploying service packs and applications via
GPO to remote users such as laptops on 56k links? For Example, GPO of
Office 2003, GPO of XPSP2.

Not recommended at all over a slow link... I could only imagine
an administrative install of Office 2003 over a slow link...
Torture...
Would these remote users ever connect locally to a high speed network?
It might be better to either defer these installs until then (which I
think is the default anyway) or non-administratively deploy them...
I would suggest you also post this to the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.setup_deployment newsgroup, or the
microsoft.public.windows.group_policy newsgroup...
Please post all responses to the newsgroups for the benefit
of all USENET users. Messages sent via email may or may not
be answered depending on time availability....
