Hi all

How can i increase the playback volume of a downloaded movie. On the TV, the
volume is lower than anything else. Can I increase it in a audio/video
program without upsetting the sync?

Cheers

I don't have a solution but a hack would be to connect the sound to an
amplifier and then to your TV. Or to speakers with built in amplifiers.

hmm, that could do the trick, use the stereo amp in the middle, as in PC to
Amp to Recorder

Cheers

1.) Download a copy of VirtualDub and load the movie into it.
2.) Set the video to "Direct Stream copy" so that you don't reencode
the video.
3.) Go into the audio settings, select "Full processing mode," then
select "volume." Increase the volume (Up to 985%(!)).
4.)Select an audio compression format (Like MP3).
5.) Now save out the new AVI under a new name and VirtualDub will make
a file with the same video and louder audio.

Simple.

Yes. For instance, open the file in VirtualDub, "Audio | Full
processing mode", then "Audio | Volume". You'll have to choose an
appropriate codec (mp3, I guess).

Split the audio from the video, increase the volume using a wave
editor then, remux it.

Try using Virtual Dub.

See the above link.

Bye for now.
