Which is better? Do I need Firewire when I have USB2 on a pentium 4 3.4? I
will be downloading cam corder film.

As I understand, USB 2.0 is slightly faster but they are also affected
by total USB traffic so if you have lots of USB devices (external hard
drives for example), the max speed may go down a bit. Firewire
generally do not suffer these.
