Roxio Easy Media 7 problem

Well, I tried this one out and it seemed to work pretty well until I did the
burn.

Burned a VCD and when I tried playing it in my DVD player it came up with
the title page and sound track just fine. But as soon as I hit play
everything went fluey, the title page remained on the bottom half of the
screen and the slides appeared as doubles above it, with the soundtrack
playing fine. I did another burn, same thing. Has anybody else seen this?
