Windows media player problems in windows 7

Have a red verticle line in the middle of the pic when playing a video file. Videos are from different cameras. When take a snapshot of a video frame the snapshot pic has the red verticle line in the middle also. Can play same videos on old computer and works fine. Need help please! thx!
