This is the 1st time setting up, In the incoming connection properties I can only see "Direct Parallel" , should I see some thing else? my Static IP is working Ok when I ping it just can't see how to get the workstation to pickup the connection either on the LAN or via the net. I have turned of the firewalls to test with no success.

Any suggestions welcomed..

No, unless you have modems or infrared cable connected to your machines,
then they woudl also appear, basically any media which can be used for dial
up would be displayed.

How to get the workstation to pickup the connection either on the LAN or via
the net
The check box in the incomming connection properties
"Allow others to make private connections to my computer by tunneling
through the Internet or other network" needs to checked. This will allow the
VPN connection to be established via your LAN.
