Internet explorer error "The Page you are looking for cannot be found"
PPC2003 on dell AXIM 2003
the error happens all the time, if the device is connect via USB cable or
WLAN,.
over programs like MSN messager works fine on both USB and WLAN.
can only Sync over USB.
I can ping the device from the PDA and ping the laptop from the device, I
can also map drives from the laptop and copy files.

I have reset the device both soft and hardware reset.

Have you tried diableing your firewall? They often block web access
on PPCs until configured to allow it.

I have realy tried every thing, bar (reg edit the PPC system)

I would like also to find a way to re-instll pocker internet explorer,

If you did a hard reset, it's essentially the same as a re-install
would be (if you could even do one!)

Try running the "welcome.exe" program in the /windows folder. It
resets pIE (don't panic- it looks like a hard reset when the "welcome"
screens come up but isn't! All programs and files are safe.)

thanks thats great, explorer works now via USB, it just getting it to work
over wireless,

I notice in the network ip setting that I have a dhcp server I cannot clear
this also DNS cannot clear this too. I logon to a network, pick up ip
settings but as mention can not remove them.

what I meant be re-set was I wipe everthing by installing the OS PPC2003
that I purchased as an upgrade from dell.

as I mention that did it.

also I can connect via wireless I click sync, it connects at the PC side,
but as guest only, so know data is sync

Mine did that too for awhile. I downloaded and installed a newer
version of activesync (3.7.1 or something, IIRC) to fix the "guest"
problem.
