Hey there,
I just built a brand new computer, and installed the K-Lite codec pack
to use for media use, but every time I open anything, including DVDs
with PowerDVD 5.0 or Windows Media Player 10, the colors are all
skewed. It seems they are inverted, and all the people look like blue
smurfs. HOWEVER, the fun twist is that if I open media with Windows
Media Player Classic that came with the codec pack, it works
perfectly! Any clue why or any idea what to do about that? I have
tried numerous codec packs (including Tsunami and Nimo) but nothing
will do it! Bizarre!
Thanks!

So by this time your system is a hopeless jumble of
half-assed, poorly written, incompatible codecs.
FORMAT C: then reinstall Windows. Then pick ONE
dvd player with ONE mpeg2 codec and install it.
