I would like to buy a miniDV camera in the $300-$450 range that will
work with an external mic. I like the Canon ZR series but I don't
think that they can do it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Angus.

Have a look on the Canon site - my Canon MV630i has that provision and I
think the ZR series does as well

David - who found that Canon use ZR in the US and MV in other countries
to label essentially the same cameras
