Users are connecting to a remote host running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service pack 1. User that access the remote server using windows 2000 RDP work fine
And some user of windows XP connect with no issues. Certain users that connect using the OEM version of windows XP sp1 are able to log in see the desk top but are not able to access desktop icon and the start menu. After about a minute they get disconnected.
There is a temServDevice error state that they do not have that driver to access the remote printer. That makes sense so I deselected remote printer sharing in the RDP connections local resource menu.
The second error, the one that appears to log users of states
Terminal server event ID 50
The RDP protocol component X.224 detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client.
I have searched the knowledge base and have only found this issue for win 2000
None for XP
