Importing DV Stream into Ulead Video Studio 8

I have a number of videos in 'pure' DV Stream format that I'd like to
import into Ulead Video Studio 8 but it won't accept it out the box.
Is there a way of adding a filter to UVS to support this? Or can I
easily (and for free?) convert them DV Stream files to .AVI or
something similar?
