I need a little help in understanding if the
syncronization will be done on my files in the following
example.
I am using a USB flash drive to transfer data (genealogy
info) between my desktop and laptop.
Does briefcase sycronize data in a file on my laptop
(example-data 12345) with a file on my desktop with
different, upgraded data (example- data 67890) and the
two files combined result in the same one file (example-
data 1234567890) on both the desktop and laptop?
The "how to use briefcase" does not give me a clear
picture.

Thank you kindly,

Bill

No, it won't synchronize the contents of files. I don't know of anything
that will. They all update based on the last modified (and some may prompt
you for which one will "win" ).
