?? I set my 5550 to automatically perform a total backup every morning.
That way, I can restore the device to exact starting condition of that day
at any time. Look at Sprite backup if your device does not have this
function. http://www.spritesoftware.com

im pretty new to this, but when i tried to restore a backup after a hard
reset, activesync complained that "the backup files are not from the
original device" or something. maybe you have to set the ID of it to that as
it was while you backed up?
