error message joining wmv files with easy video joiner

Greetings,

I did get some responses for my earlier question, thanks for the
pointers! However, asftools was not able to remove my hang problem.

I downloaded the newest version of Wiagra's Easy Video Joiner, which
purports to join wmv files, and as I try to work with it, I get this
rather less than informative (to me) error message:

Error in WriteStreamSample (hr=8000FFFF)


?


Anyone have any clues what I've done wrong/is awry?
