I've been having a problem with Day of Defeat lately. Every time I
join a server, as soon as I choose my class the sound and video get
very choppy to the point where I can't play. It also occasionally
crashes. I've made sure it isn't a problem with my Internet or lag,
and it happens on every server. I know that isn't much to go by, but
if you've had a problem similar to this, please give me any help you
can. Thanks.

The usual thing I would check on it disk fragmentation, spyware, viruses,
etc. So run a defrag, run AdAware or SpyBot S&D, etc. Also check what other
tasks are running in background. I can get those probs when my virus checker
decides to do an update, or MS AntiSpyware starts off its check in
background, or even when I leave MSN Messenger open and some goon signs in
i.e. popup windows.
