Just wondering... do many apps fail to work properly when a PPC is put
into landscape mode? I wouldn't be surprised to hear that many apps are
hard-coded to work with the standard 240x320 desktop resolution, and
require updating to work with that mode.

No... most apps will run on landscape mode...

It's just that some settings or options panels may not appear correctly...
but they should all work fine though...

DeveloperOne and Resco have been developing applications that work pretty
well in landscape mode... even way back a year or two ago.

A few will not run on landscape mode... because some apps are hardcoded for
portrait mode... just a few though...

Having used an e805 in VGA landscape for months now the only apps I've
run across that have problems in landscape are some games. Regular
programs work well.
