I have recently replaced my serial printer with an HP Officejet 5510 with a USB connection on my home computer. I have shared the computer for my home network access. When I connect to my office computer through remote desk top connection only the old printer shows up as available. I have gone into the options tab when entering the remote connection and made sure that on the local tab that printers is checked and then connected, but this does nothing. I have read that USB connections may be tricky and to add to the problem this is an all in one machine...printer, scanner, copier, fax. What do I need to do to be able to access this local printer remotely?
