One of the checkbox options on AV_IO is "align to disc sector". What does
this mean? Why would you check or uncheck it?

Thanks!

From the VideoReDo help files:

"Align Packet Data To Word Boundary (DigiTV): Some
software players such as the Nebula-DigiTV player require
MPEG streams with certain internal packet alignment. You
should only need to check this option when you intend for
your videos to be played one on of these players. Otherwise,
you will be wasting bytes within the file. "
