Whenever I try to burn an auido cd I get this message - "invalid field in
parameter - Could not perform start of Disc-at-Once".
This all started a couple of days ago. I was making back ups of my
daughter's CDs and succesfully copied about 5 of them. That is when I
started getting the afore mentioned error:"invalid field in parameter -
Could not perform start of Disc-at-Once". I restarted the computer and
tried the burn again. Same results.

That was Zilog. BTW, I think I have heard that you can still get
Z80s (Z-80, whatever :-)
The chip was a superset of the 8080, which was a predecessor of the
8088/8086 CPUs. Kind of nice to program, I thought back then...
It was compatible with the 8080, and you could even get assemblers
that used 8080 mnemonics instead of the official Z80 ones. Or maybe
you could just use an 8080 assembler - I don't quite remember.
I had an S100 kit (personal) that had a Z80 MB, and I also
programmed an embedded project using a Z80 for work in the mid 80s
(mid 1980s, not mid 8080s or Z80s. Sorry: I even pun with
numbers...).

Well, I don't know what I did, but this isn't where I wanted this
post to go.
Maybe Xnews sneezed...
My apologies,
Gino

Never mind: in this case, there's apparently an invalid field in
parameter 5 of my brain. My first post was in this thread was OK,
but I had a brainquake...
