Two questions:

Is this/will this technology be portable to computer monitors?

Are there/will there be 3-chip DLP TV sets or computer monitors?

Thanks,
Rick

Probably not. Backlit panels seem to be entrenched, because of the demand
for resolution above HDTV. CRTs also provide better performance than
projection systems, at desktop resolution levels.

Only TI knows for sure. At present, DLP chips are expensive to produce.
Hence the use of color wheels with one-chip units.
But in either 3 chip or one chip, it seems an unlikely choice for a computer
monitor. Both LCD panels are CRTs are better at this.
