Hi

I've come to learn that the password line in rdp files is a reference to a
secure storage of Windows. However, I've been unable to find any useful
information on the secure storage facility.. I came across a tool to read
out passwords stored by IE / Outlook(Express), but thats it. I've also read
about the Data Protection API (DAPI) which I presume is what is used to
store the passwords the MS Terminal client stores.

I'd like to automatically store a password in wherever the terminal services
client expects it and write an appropriate connection file that refers to
the password saved. Does anyone have any idea on how that could be achieved?

About all I can suggest is searching in the MSDN area of www.microsoft.com,
where developer information is posted, and posting in a developer-related
group.
