How long will the batteries last in the Mac mini? Generally speaking.

It plugs in. It doesn't have batteries.

Are you confusing it with a laptop?

Edit: On second thought, if you mean the clock/system battery ... they typically last at least 4 years in all the Macs I've owned.

If I am not mistaken, Mac mini is a desktop that requires a power adapter. So no batteries per se.

I've never had to replace the CMOS battery in any computer that I have owned (they used to be rechargables in the good old days), so I would say their lifetime is, effectively, greater than that of the other components. My seven-year old Mac Mini hasn't exhausted its battery yet.

Ah, that's another matter! If it's anything like the mouse then battery lifetime is pretty short (one or two weeks). And yet the wireless keyboard just runs and runs. Invest. In a couple of sets of rechargeables.
