Problem with remote desktop xp pro

Hey gang...

I got a windows xp pro and a dlink 614+ firewall at home, and im
trying to connect to it from work, i opened the 3389 port on the
firewall at home and i have enabled remote desktop access on my
computer, but i get a strange problem.... when i try to connect, i get
the loginscreen, but when i try to login its loading my settings, then
all of a sudden its saving my settings and logging me off!

My regular account is a member of the admin group and the remote
desktop users group, i have also created an account for test purposes,
that is also an admin and a remote user, but i get the same thing!

in leaving the computer at the loginscreen in the morning, i.e. im not
logged in when i try to connect, and alot of my friends at work
connect to their computers at home, so i know there isnt a problem
with the companys network or firewall...

any ideas ?
