Anyone able to assist?

Using Studio 8 I have put together a series of 'stills' [.jpg] which I want
to put onto a disc. I have done this previously without problem but now when
I try to burn the disc I get the error message: 'Cannot create disc without
playable movie clips. At least one movie clip must be reference in the
project'.

I have previously compiled discs containing only stills but the software
does not want to do it now. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Make an AVI-file of your project first, import the file in a new project and
try making disc again.
I had the same problem with Studio 9, and creating an AVI-file was the
answer.

I've created a file called photos.avi but when I try to File > Open Project
and select photos.avi I get the error message 'The file photos.avi could not
be opened' ... any ideas [I'm feeling a bit dense here]?

Doh ... think I've sorted it ... don't open a project via File > Open
Project ... but open as if opening video scenes.

How clever do I feel ... but if anyone has a simpler method, all will be
greatfully received. I can't believe the software is supposed to work this
way.

good, now I can file that little tidbit away for future use. But, isn't it
easier to just use a slideshow program? I got one with my scanner. Windows
powertools also has one for free download, assuming you can import the results
into Studio.
