Dm4 1165dx speakers not working

Hello,

I have hp dm4 1165, speakers were working properly till now, but suddenly it has stopped working.
Driver details says "This device is working properly". Any suggestiong?

Though you've checked the driver details, you might want to try doing a Windows Update, just in case. Or see if you should reinstall the drivers from HP. Another thing you can try is running the sound diagnostics on the Microsoft site: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/no_sound/en-us
