When I remotely synchronize folders and subfolders, the
synchronization process "strips" away the individual
folders and subfolders thereby mixing all of the files
together.

Is there a way to retain the folders and subfolders?

Access the files using the Network UNC/Drive letter as if you were
still connected to the network....
