Question:
I am trying to get this up and running but keep getting errors. My XP pro
network is set up as a workgroup. Currently the error is saying that there
is no terminal server present. Now what?
Answer:
If your trying to browse for PCs using the Remote Desktop connectoid browser
function in a work
group, then you will see that message. Instead call using the LAN IP of the
PC your trying to
connect to.
Question:
How do I do that? Do I need to install (or ensure installation) of
additional XP software?
Background:
All home network PC's are running XP Pro SP2. I have used the appropriate
wizards to set everything up, including the remote desktop wizard. My
ultimate goal is to enable connection to my office PC (I am a partner in a
small business).

No - just use your remote desktop client and manually input the host name or
IP of the computer you want to connect to.

Do you mean from the Internet, or from the LAN?
