Problems with FarCry Demo

I dowloaded the demo from fileplanet, instalation went fine but when I run the demo I get some kind of weird white glare all over. It also seems as if I wear playing wearing heat sensor goggles in daylight. Don´t know how else to explain. I tried changing the video options a few times but it doesn´t help. My rig is more than capable. It´s running on a Radeon 9800 (not pro). If someone knows what the problem is please respond, I´m waiting to buy the game but not if this problem persists.
