I'm not too good at self-teaching. I have a JVC GR DVF31 camera which I
have only just begun filming with. I know absolutely nothing about the
medium.

I need someone to "coach" me thru the dubbing process, in the most
elementary of terms. I plugged the thing into a serial port after
loading the two appls. I got with the camera (JLIP Video Capture & JLIP
Video Producer) and it seems to work OK, but I'm lost as-to what it
wants me to do.

I'm a marching-band enthusiast and I like to film our rehearsals. I'm
interested in saving the raw footage as most of you are. I have only CD
Burner capability in the computer although I do have a Philips DVDR 80
recorder.

Anyone have the patience to walk me thru the process?
Thanx-in-advance,

JW
