hi everyone,

i have been trying a lot of ways to make a success connection between my
home XP Pro (server) with my office laptop XP Pro as well. my internet
connection at my office LAN is using a proxy server with port 8080. i can
surf the net without problem.

my home pc is setup with IIS set port at 8080 and i am able to browse my
virtual directory with my laptop using direct modem dialup to a local ISP.

but i cannot do it with my office LAN internet connection. what kind of
setup i need to do? router port forwarding, etc...? i also set the Remote
Desktop listening port to 8080 as well by editing the registry file. can i
have two same port?

pls help.
