Can't see vpn network after SP2

after SP2, I login from home to my host computer (xp pro)
at work like i normally do and it shows that it is
registered on the network etc. Except now i can't see any
of the other computers on the network except my home
computer. The login thru the vpn seems normal. I checked
the firewall and i have file sharing enabled etc.

What error do you get when you try to access a network resource
manually (i.e., go to \\SERVERNAME\SHARENAME).

To browse over a VPN-based network reliably, you need access to a LAN
WINS or DNS server, which aren't provided in Windows XP Pro...
