I have setup a Netgear Router FVS318 and ProSafe Client as described by the
document supplied by SafeNet ("SR__NetGear_FVS318v1.4.pdf" ). The server
subnet is 192.168.0.x (255.255.255.0), the ProSafe Client is assigned an
internal network IP address 192.168.100.1.

I'm trying to log on in hotels or internet cafes ie. places where a router
is installed. On some places everything works great. On other places the
connection is built up successfully (ProSafe Client reports "connected ..",
see protocol below). However, when I try to actually access the server it
fails, even a simple "ping 192.168.0.100" (server IP) fails.

Is there a requirement for the subnet of the remote place? IP Overlap? On
this place the Subnet is 192.168.1.x, ie no overlap but not working.

I got told that all ports are open. Does the router on same places does not
support "VPN passthrough"? I though in this case the connection should not
be built up at all?

Thanks - Reinhard
