Out of sync audio after burning DVD on Nero Vision Express 3

Am attempting to burn DVD video with Nero Vision Express 3. I am able
to capture the video tapes with both the capture programs in MM2 (in
avi) and Vision Express and play back fine on the computer. However,
when I attempt to burn either the files captured by MM2 or Nero the
sync of the audio tracks
gets further behind as the clip progresses so that by the end of the 2
or 3 minute clips, the sound is behind about 5 seconds or so.
What can I do to correct the audio sync?
