from here on are the most relevant to video editing.

However, the entire review is good since it let's you know exactly which
processors and speeds are the best (ie. fastest) for video editing
needs. This way, you'll know for certain was YYY processor really the
best choice for speed vs. VVV or not before you spend any hard earned
money on a new PC system or CPU upgrade.

You can also see where your current CPU lies and how much slower (ie.
non-productive) you are vs. the best CPUs on the market today. In a
business, it makes sense to spend a little more money on the CPU/PC to
reduce rendering times by 2x+, esp. if you're working under tight
deadlines or have many jobs in the pipeline.

Two fastest overall processors for the job:
#1 Pentium 4 570 3800Mhz CPU

(top choice for AMD, but slower than above)
AMD 64 FX-55 2600Mhz CPU

Everything else from either platform generally runs slower than these two.

If these are all tested on different motherboards isn't inconclusive?

How is that resolved in a test like this?
