Slow start up after ne SSD installation.

Hello!
I recently installed an SSD seperate from the SSD that contains my OS in my desktop.
I noticed that after I closed the case and powered the rig on that it too much longer than normal to load on the "splash screen".
However after I shut down the rig and went to restard it everything seemed to to be running normally.
Is this a normal occurance after installing new hardware/hard drives?

I noticed that with AHCI it sometimes takes a few seconds more on the first powerup, maybe it's cashing some info about the drive or something. I just plugged a new HDD myself (few minutes ago) and experienced just that.

i have that setup myself,and it does slow mine done a tad bit!
