Can't get computer to boot from the windwos 7 disc

I am currently using a 32 bit version of windows seven and just recently upgraded my ram. I bought the 64 bit version of windows 7 so i could use all my ram but my computer won't boot from it. Yes i have changed my bios to boot from disc but that has not worked. All it does is show a blinking white line until you turn off the computer. Thanks to anyone who can help.

take it out and put it back in,does your computer support this amount of a ram upgrade?

If you just remove the extra sticks of RAM, does it boot?
