I just recently installed a DVD-RW drive in my computer. I had
previously been using a CD burner for Video CD's, MP3's and Photos.
Is there a link anyone can think of that gives some basic information
on what I can do with this new drive that I couldn't do with the
previous?

www.videohelp.com is always handy, but I would have thought the difference
was obvious? You can read and burn DVDs now.

DVDs have a greater capacity and also the capability of navigation as
compared to CDs. They also have better quality.

First: Your drive is, at the minimum, capable of DVD-RW and DVD-R (the first is
erasable like a CD-RW; the second is one-time like a CD-R).

Second: Unless you bought the drive off a junk table for US$10 or so, you can
probably burn DVD+RW and DVD+R as well as DVD-RW, DVD-R, CD-R, and CD-RW

Finally: See dvdhelp.com
