The advantage to that route is that you can use one monitor for games and not have to worry about getting a videocard that can handle 1920x1200. The disadvantage is that it's still a dual monitor setup which isn't going to help you much with movies or games. For photoshop and stuff it's awesome though.
Right. When I got mine it was $900 and $600 for the 20.1". Nowadays you can almost get two 2005fpw's for $600.
It's a really nice monitor. I was using the one I gave my brother over thxgiving and it's still a really big monitor. Next to mine though it looks small but alone it looks big.
Well why not just get dual 2405's? You get all the upside of duals, all the upside of a 2405' and the downside would be having to find room for ~45" wide of monotirs...lol
Just looking at my monitor and doubling it is very insane. Quite honestly I think he's going to freak out when he sees how much screen space he has with two 2005fpws.
