NOT synchronizing over wireless connection

I want to synchronize my offline files when I get to the office in the
morning and when I leave at night. At home I connect with my wireless
home network and VPN with no problem, but I don't want to synchronize
because it takes forever. I can't figure out how to configure
synchronization manager for the wireless network because it doesn't
list the wireless connection as an option. Is there a way to do this?
