I have XP Pro and use Remote Desktop to connect to an office computer. I am
on the remote connection 9 hours a day 5 days a week. Once every day or two,
I lose my internet connection. I reset the modem and its back and running
imediately. I have a Static IP with Bellsouth DSL. Bellsouth is out of
ideas from their end and says its not the internet connection. This problem
never happens on at night or on the weekends when I'm off of the Remote
Desktop.
Does anyone know if Remote Desktop can cause an interuption requiring me to
reset my modem? If so is there a solution?
