I usually connect to my office PC using RD but if I keep the session open
when I leave this PC, then when I connect from any other one, the keyboard
and mouse configurations don't change to adapt to those of the connecting PC.
Now, in my office I have a Microsoft spanish keyboard with latin-american
layout and a wireless optical Genius mouse. If, for example, I connect from
other PC having a keyboard with spanish or english layout, Windows in my
office PC doesn't change the configuration of the keyboard for the new
layout, despite it has installed the new layout. With the mouse, the problems
are worst because the normal cursor (arrow) get displayed on every connection
with unpredictable shapes, i.e. a set of pixels with no recognizable shape
and almost invisible, converting the mouse in a useless device and forcing me
to log off and sign in again to be able to work. If I connect when the
session is closed, then Windows recognize the keyboard and the mouse
correctly.
The same happened in other PCs with other keyboards and other mice, carrying
me to think that it's a problem in Remote Desktop when sessions kept open and
not of a specific keyboard or mouse.
Any hint to fix this niggling behaviour will be very appreciated.
