usb download gives poor results??

Hi, I used the usb streaming download into pinnacle, but it came in
jerky, and played jerky on vcd. ow can I capture and write to dvd or
vcd in the quality digital format as it appears when played back
directly on or from the video camera?

Are you using usb 2.0 or usb 1.1?

Big difference. Others here know the numbers but if you're using the older
usb 1.1 standard, that would explain the poor results. Do you have firewire
on your computer and camera?
