Expressions of Interest in Video Project

Dear Desktop DV Users

I am undertaking a feasability study for a public video project
currently in development. I am also inviting any member of the
video-using public to contribute, be they amateur or professional
users.

The idea is simple.... simply donate a short video image of
someone/those you care about, a family member, a lover, or friend
looking at you through the camera. The look they give may clearly show
how happy you make them feel. Perhaps it might not be that clear..
either way we want an image that communicates a feeling that you
recognise and has importance to you.

The project includes the establishing of an on line depositbox so that
users can register as a part of the project, and then upload
video-images. The culmination of this would be a video installation
where all these "beloved" people become a part of a "video-house" an
edifice made out of video projections. We do not seek to own the
copyright to any image, just to include it in our "house".

Expressions of interest or queries mailed to me would support the
funding of this online deposit box and would be greatly appreciatd.
