Hi,

I need to set up a laptop (XP Pro SP1) for VPN onto our NT domain. The
laptop uses a wireless home network for internet access.
My preferred way for the user to log on to the domain/VPN is by ticking the
box for logon using dialup networking. I've set this up and it works fine
until I put security on the wireless network access.

Its as though the user can't get onto the wireless network until he's been
authenticated, and he can't be authenticated until he logs onto the domain,
and he can't log on to the domain until he gets on to the wireless network,
etc (catch22!).

What is the way round this? The user is classed as a power user on the
laptop, and a normal domain user on the domain.

Thanks in advance for your help,

SW
