I have digital camcorder. I want to send the video to a LAN to be
viewed live. Like webcam, I suppose. Not sure how to search on this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction with the right questions to
ask? What product? Thank you.

Netmeeting will do what you want. I use it to communicate to each system on
my LAN.

Several options. But impossible to suggest anything
without better explanation of what you are trying to do.
