Regedit - Can't delete Office

Hi there,
I'm trying to reinstall Office 2007 using Windows 7 to no avail. After much forum-hopping, I think the problem is leftover files from my previous Office 2007 but after clearing out absolutely everything I could find, one Office key remains in the regedit under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. I've given myself full control permissions but still nothing.

The error message I receive after attempting to install reads: Office 2007 installation gives error 25004 config.xml not specified.

Any ideas?
Thanks a lot.

+1, this shouldn't be happening with legal versions of Office.
